I had so much fun making these adorable acorn cookies. When I saw the pin from CraftyMorning on Pinterest, I couldn’t resist. Not only are they cute as a button, but they are also delicious. How can you go wrong with Nutter Butters and chocolate?

Ingredients for acorn cookies

So incredibly easy to make and no baking required. My kind of treat! These acorn cookie treats are perfect for any fall gathering or added to your dessert table at Thanksgiving.

Begin by breaking the pretzel sticks into 3-4 pieces per stick.

Next, cut the Nutter Butter cookies in half using a sharp knife.

Then melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Ensure the bowl isn’t too shallow because you will be dipping the cookies into the melted chocolate. Dip half of the Nutter Butter cookie (straight side down) into the melted chocolate. Immediately dip into a small bowl of chocolate sprinkles.

The last step is to add the pretzel stem. Try to carefully push the pretzel down in between the cookie layers to help stabilize and secure the stem. Arrange the completed cookies on a cookie sheet, then place them in the fridge for an hour or so to set the chocolate. It is not recommended to store them in the fridge for much more than a few hours because the cookie could become soggy.

The finished product is absolutely adorable. I am obsessed with these little acorn cookies.
