Easy homemade meatballs
There is something so comforting and familiar about a simple bowl of pasta with a warm, savory sauce and flavorful meatballs. I wanted to make meatballs and found this recipe at Bakery by Nature. They turned out great. They were so simple to make using ground beef, some seasonings, and bread crumbs.
Place all the ingredients, except the water, in a large bowl. Use your hands to combine them. Add the water just a spoonful at a time until the mixture is well combined and moist. Be sure not to overwork the meat; this will make it tough.
Once well combined, pinch off a tablespoon-sized amount and roll into balls. I was able to make about two dozen meatballs, which were fairly plump. You can make the meatballs smaller or larger, depending on your preference.
Bake at 425 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until thoroughly cooked.
Once cooked, serve with your favorite pasta and sauce. I also made my own sauce for this dish. Click here for the marina sauce recipe.
I will definitely be making these meatballs again. They were easy to make and didn’t make a big mess. They are so tender and flavorful.
