Savory and Delicious Crockpot Dinner
Jump to RecipeThis honey garlic chicken is simple to make, and it is absolutely delicious. With just a few ingredients from your pantry along with some boneless chicken thighs, dinner is served. A juicy and tender meal so full of flavor.
Begin by adding the chicken to the crockpot—salt and pepper to taste.
Next, dice the onions until you have at least a 1/2 cup.
Combine the diced onions, garlic, honey, ketchup, soy sauce (or Bragg’s), oil, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl.
Then pour sauce over the chicken and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-6 hours.
Finally, once the chicken has cooked through, remove it from the crockpot. Shred the chicken and return it to the crockpot.
Next, combine the cornstarch and warm water. Stir until the cornstarch is dissolved. Add to the crockpot. Cook for another 10 minutes.
Side Dish
Broccoli makes a great side dish for this meal. Chop broccoli into small pieces and place in a microwave-safe bowl. Add a small amount of water and cover with press and seal or Saran wrap. Microwave for 7-8 minutes until the broccoli is tender.
Serve over rice with a side of steamed broccoli or your favorite vegetable.
