At first glance, this cookie recipe may look a little daunting based on the list of ingredients and steps involved. The other crinkle cookies I have made used a boxed cake mix and only contained a few simple steps. This recipe is from scratch and does contain a few extra steps, but it is so worth it. Your sweet tooth will appreciate the extra effort.
To make these decadent homemade brownie cookies, you will need flour, sugar, salt, vanilla, chocolate chips, eggs, baking powder, oil, butter, and cocoa powder.
The first step is combining the flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk together in a medium mixing bowl and set to the side.
The next step calls for two eggs and one egg yolk at room temperature. To separate the yolk from the egg using the shell method, crack the egg, and then hold the egg over a bowl, and carefully open the egg into two halves, allowing the egg white to fall into the bowl. Gently transfer the egg yolk between the two halves of the eggshell, allowing the egg white to drain away into the bowl. Hold the yolk in the shell while letting the white drip off.
Combine the eggs, sugar, oil, and vanilla in a mixing bowl. Use a stand mixer or a hand mixer to combine the ingredients until the mixture is completely mixed through.
In a small saucepan, melt the chocolate chips and the butter over medium heat.
Stir continuously to prevent the chocolate from burning to the pan.
Once the chocolate is melted, remove from heat and then stir in the cocoa powder.
Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the wet mixture and mix until well combined.
Once the chocolate mixture is well combined, slowly add in the flour mixture. Combine until thoroughly mixed. The cookie dough will be on the runny side, it will not have the consistency of traditional cookie dough.
Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats. Using a spoon or a cookie scooper, place a measured amount of cookie mixture on the baking sheet for each cookie, leaving 1 1/2 inches between each one.
Before placing in the oven, top each cookie with a sprinkle of sea salt. For a coarser salt, use Kosher salt.
Bake for 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees. The cookies are done when the tops start to crackle, and the edges are firm.
Remove from oven and place a few chocolate chips on top of the cookies. This is optional. The chocolate chips will begin to melt after being placed on the hot cookies.
These cookies are so delicious, a truly blissful dessert experience. They really do taste like brownies, and the salted tops mixed with the decadent chocolate cookie is a flavor sensation.
Every mouthful is a journey of textures and tastes – from the initial crispness to the velvety smoothness of the chocolate, creating a symphony of sensations that dance on your taste buds. Whether enjoyed on its own, paired with a glass of milk, or savored with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, this brownie cookie is a delightful and irresistible treat.

Hi, I do think your web site could possibly be having internet browser compatibility issues.
When I take a look at your blog in Safari, it looks fine but when opening in I.E., it’s
got some overlapping issues. I simply wanted to give you a
